I have always been on an up hill battle to lose weight. I am tired of being out of breath and having no energy. I want to liveto see my grandkids grow up. My husband and I have put on over 150 lbs together in the last 6 years together and we plan on taking it off together as well. We are a team and we are in this together.

I have lost count

Well, I haven't been on here in awhile.  We are doing great.  I signed up for the BLC and I received my books.  I am down to 224 and still losing.  Bruce and I both have to get new clothes.  The pounds are coming off.  It is a lot of hard work.  We try to make it to the gym about 3 to 4 times a week and we walk every night about 1 to 2 miles.  I bought an exercise ball and have been doing that a couple times a week too. 
 
 
March 21

Easter weekend

We have been working out about every other day at 5 am. The days we work out, I am more awake and alert.  I have lost another pound.  Bruce is still on a steady decline.  He and I both have had to go out and buy new clothes. 
 
I hope we can stay on track this weekend.

March 08

A new week

Well we did it.  We finally joined a gym and have worked out 4 days this week so far.  We have to get up at 4:45 in the morning to get there by 5 and be home by 5:35, but at least we are getting 30 min. of exercise in.  We find we have more energy during the day, but by 8 at night we are ready for bed. 
 
Bruce has lost a total of 21 lbs so far and I lost another lbs last week.  Together we have lost 31 lbs, so we are well are our way to our goal.
 
 
February 26

Week ?

Bruce is doing great.  I, on the other hand, am not doing so well.  We are eating a lot of chicken, turkey, lean ground beef.  I know it will happen.  It didn't take weeks for all this weight to just appear, but it just gets frustrating once in awhile.  I just wish spring was here so we could get outside.  I am getting cabin fever really bad!

February 16

Week 7

Well, another week has gone by and we are still plugging away.  I just started a new job and have been sick, but I've been trying to follow my routine.  Since I have started back to work, I have noticed that we are eating out a little more.  We need to stop that....
 
I didn't lose any weight nor did I gain anything, so I consider that to be a good week.
 
Bruce still has been unable to weigh himself, but his coworkers are constantly telling him they can see a difference.  He has moved is belt 2 holes, so I know he is losing weight. 
 
I think we are going to join the city gym when we get our tax money.  I believe our biggest obstacle is exercising....we just don't do it.
